Absence of cross contamination on the Volta Labs™ digital fluidics platform

A highly sensitive, ultra-deep short-read sequencing assay (capable of detecting one read from a contaminating template amongst 10,000 reads) was designed to detect potential cross contamination between samples processed in parallel on the Volta Labs digital fluidics platform. No detectable cross contamination was observed during routine processing using an enzymatic library preparation application on a four-sample instrument.
